Welcome back! We have a busy Spring ahead.
SCHOOL IS OPEN AS NORMAL FOR ALL YEAR GROUPS. Please check the website for an update if there is a substantial snowfall overnight.
Parentmail Thank you to everyone who has returned the information sheet. We would be grateful if you could return them by the end of term please, so Parentmail can process the information. We hope to have the email communication set up and running early in the Spring Term.
Creative Partnerships Project We are delighted to have been successful in gaining a grant from Creative Partnerships; they like the creative approach we use and are keen to help us develop the curriculum still further. To launch projects in Y1 andY3, we are very fortunate to have engaged an Explorer, John Harrison, to visit the school on Thursday 25th February. In addition to working with the children during the school day, he will be doing an illustrated talk at 4 o’clock for parents and children about some of his adventures during expeditions up the Amazon and to Timbuktu. Older siblings may also be interested and are welcome to come.
PROFESSIONAL DAY CLOSURE- Monday 4th January 2010. Friday 5th March 2010. Thursday 22nd April 2010.
