Our school has formulated a set of aims that have evolved over a period of time. These are the goals that we hope to achieve with the children during the time they spend in our school:

  • to maintain and develop lively, enquiring minds, the ability to question and argue rationally and apply themselves to these tasks.
  • to acquire and be able to use knowledge and skills relevant to their own environment and to adult life, and the ability to respond constructively and contribute to a fast-changing world.
  • to acquire a reasoned set of attitudes, values and beliefs including an appreciation of other people's religious and moral values.
  • to understand the world in which they live, the ways

in which it is managed, and the interdependence of individuals, groups, and nations.

  • to enjoy an involvement in art, music, drama, science, technology, physical pursuits and literature; to appreciate the areas of common interest shared by different branches of knowledge and experience.

  • to develop a sense of their own individual significance in society and the will and ability to contribute to the well-being of others and society as a whole.
